Local Health Integration Network

Waterloo Wellington Partners in Health initiative

The Waterloo Wellington Partners in Health initiative is a team-approach to support a patient focused health care system for all Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network (WWLHIN) residents. The WWLHIN, in partnership with local health service providers (HSP’s), is undertaking a number of initiatives to transform and strengthen the local health care system. The focus of all these important projects is to enhance programs and services to support the delivery of quality health care in the WWLHIN area.

HSP’s deliver more than 100 health care programs and services across the WWHLIN. These range from acute hospital services such as emergency and surgical care to community support services that enable residents to receive care in their own homes. HSP’s across the WWLHIN are working hard to provide safe, quality, innovative, effective, and efficient health care. This often means working together to provide integrated services that best meet patient needs.

The Partners in Health Website is your source for the latest news and information about local health care and health service providers. If you are a local resident or work in the health sector, visit the site regularly to be informed about health care in your community.
