Waterloo Wellington Partners in Health initiative
The Waterloo Wellington Partners in Health initiative is a team-approach to support a patient focused health care system for all Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network (WWLHIN) residents. The WWLHIN, in partnership with local health service providers, is undertaking a number of initiatives to transform and strengthen the local health care system. The focus of all these important projects is to enhance programs and services to support the delivery of quality health care in the WWLHIN area. Visit the site regularly to be informed about your local health care system.
The Operational Review Team for Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) has been appointed to ensure, for the long-term, a strong and sustainable community hospital for the residents of Cambridge and area.
The WWLHIN is committed to working in collaboration with community stakeholders to create a win-win solution, within the provincially-mandated necessity of achieving a balanced budget. An Operational Review Team has been appointed by the WWLHIN to provide CMH with additional assistance to support their success in maintaining high quality care for the patients its serves, within its approved and planned funding allocations.
The end-product of the initiative, a Hospital Improvement Plan, will empower CMH to continue to deliver high quality patient care while also performing with a strong operating position. This in turn will help sustain the community hospital in the future and through fiscal challenges.
